Denise L. Hutson

Denise Hutson is a partner in the firm’s real estate department. A Gainesville native, she attended the University of Florida and obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, in 1990. She then attended law school at the University of Florida, graduating in 1994. Mrs. Hutson focuses on real estate development, commercial real estate, residential real estate, condominium law, and homeowner’s association law.
Mrs. Hutson is active in both state and local legal community. She served on the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Executive Council and as Vice-Chair of the Residential Real Estate Industry Liaison Committee 2011-2013. She served on the Florida Association of Realtors-Florida Bar Joint Committee and Contract Subcommittee from 2001-2013 and serving as chair in 2010. She has served on the Gainesville-Alachua County Association Contract and Forms Committee since 2004. In addition, she has been active in the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association where she served as President and Secretary of the Young Lawyers Division in 1998 and 1996 respectively.
